Concepción Huista, Huehuetenango, Guatemala Finca Quejina is a high elevation farm owned by Nicolás Ramírez in the mountains of Huehuetenango. The land has been in his family for generations, gradually transitioning from forest into coffee cultivation. Today it is dedicated exclusively to coffee production.
This washed Caturra is grown at 2050 meters above sea level and processed through a traditional washed method with an 18–24 hour fermentation before drying. The cup is structured and comforting, with praline, burnt sugar, raisin, and cooked pome fruit supported by a tart acidity and mellow sweetness.
