We’re happy to offer this outstanding AA selection from the Kamwea Estate in Embu County Kenya.
This is a single estate coffee, which means that the cherries are picked and processed on the same farm to ensure the highest standards in picking, sorting and processing. The ripest, reddest cherries, are handpicked and delivered to the
wet mill on the same day. They're then sorted, pulped, and fermented for 16-24 hours under closed shade. After fermentation the coffee is washed and again graded by density in washing channels. It is then soaked under clean water for 16-18 hours before being spread out on raised drying tables.
This is one of our favorite coffees for filter.
We taste blackberry jam, mandarin orange and caramel.
